About the Public Test Realm (PTR)
- The PTR is a server for players to participate in testing upcoming systems and content. It is NOT a full game experience. For the full early access game, please use the commercial Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen client.
- On the PTR, players will encounter bugs and incomplete content and/or systems. Server availability is not guaranteed. Additionally, character and/or server resets may occur without notice.
- Please provide your bug reports and feedback on the Official Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Discord, where PTR feedback channels have been created.
In this Update
- This update includes several bug fixes for various class abilities and mastery options. The patch also enables some additional stats for items and addresses several issues that were contributing to NPC pathfinding problems. In addition, we are continuing to implement refinements and additions to game itemization.
Testing Focus
- The following areas are in focus:
- Combat testing for levels 1-50
- Mastery options for Warrior, Paladin, Dire Lord, Shaman, Cleric, Druid, Wizard, and Enchanter.
- Solo and Group adventuring gameplay throughout the game.
- Loot itemization feedback at all levels, but especially in level 10-40 adventuring content.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where NPCs sometimes weren’t updating their path when they should have been.
- Fixed several issues that would cause NPCs to become stuck and stop moving.
- Fixed an issue with tooltips getting stuck on the mouse pointer after zoning.
Classes
Cleric
- Fixed an issue that was causing Arc of Light to sometimes bounce its heal to inappropriate targets.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing several ranks of Healing Spark from healing for the appropriate amount. Also fixed several problems that were interfering with mastery unlocks that affect Healing Spark.
- Bolster should now reduce damage taken instead of increasing it.
- Clarified the description for Greater Resurrection to show the correct amount of reduction to resurrection sickness.
- Enabled the effects of the Doctrinal Focus mastery.
- Enabled the effects of the Dawncaller mastery.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing Sudden Life from functioning properly when triggered by Flash Heal or by Healing Spark.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing the Pushback Resistance bonuses from Adept Light-Wielder I and II from applying properly when casting Celestial Light.
- Measured Rebuke I should now properly apply its bonus if Tribunal is not active and a Tome of Judgement is equipped.
- The accelerated Smite effect from Tribunal should now stack up to 10 times, allowing for much faster Smiting to occur.
- In an effort to reduce near-death experiences for the Cleric’s party members because the Cleric was waiting until the last second to heal them, The Light Guides will now apply its bonus to Celestial Light during situations where the target’s health was reduced while the spell was being cast.
- Word of Radiance now requires the Cleric to be Level 40 to unlock, since the ability that it grants is not actually usable until Level 40.
Dire Lord
- Fixed bad scaling on the Dire Lord Mastery UI window.
- When Twin Incision has been unlocked, the second attack from Fleshcarver should now base its damage on the initial hit of the ability, instead of making a completely separate damage roll. This should generally result in more predictable damage from the second hit.
Druid
- Fixed a race condition that was causing the heal effect from Splintered Balm to sometimes respond to the initial damage event from Grove Whip, instead of waiting for the next attack to hit like it was supposed to.
- The critical chance bonuse from Improved Stormfire I and II should now be correctly applied to the periodic damage events for the ability.
Enchanter
- Crafty Binder I should now correctly have a chance to re-apply Illusory Shackles for half duration when the first application of Illusory Shackles expires.
- Charm has undergone a major code refactor to address several problems that would cause the effect to end prematurely. While Charm still has a chance to break before its full duration is expired or when the NPC takes damage, it should now be much more reliable than previously.
Paladin
- Updated the description for Luminous Brace to clarify that it heals based on the amount of damage blocked, rather than the total incoming damage. Also greatly increased the ratio of blocked damage that is used to determine the healing amount. Please note that this effect may receive further tuning in future updates. If we made it too strong, we will have to nerf it later.
- Fixed an issue that was causing Righteous Flame to start with 6 stacks, even though the stacks did not actually do anything.
- Removed some outdated and incorrect information from the description for Radiant Lance that was generating confusion about the ability. Radiant Lance will do additional damage against any target that is below 30% health when it is used. If the Paladin has the Boneslayermastery unlocked and the target is undead, the bonus damage will be applied regardless of the target’s health, and will generate additional threat. There are no longer any additional effects when the ability is used.
Shaman
- Higher ranks of Chronoburn should now last for their advertised durations.
Warrior
- Hold the Line will now only be usable if you have at least 1 Battle Point to put into it.
- Overwhelming Force should now correctly apply its knockdown effect when 3 or more Battle Points are used with Mighty Blow.
- Fixed an issue where the damage bonus from Cataclysmic Blow was being applied even in situations where it should not have been.
- Cataclysmic Blow should now properly do its splash damage when 5 Battle Points are consumed by Mighty Blow.
- War Horn now requires 2 Battle Points to activate.
- Shield Proficiency II and Shield Proficiency III should now properly apply their benefits to the Warrior when unlocked.
- War Lariat should no longer damage the warrior when used, only their enemies, who will be crushed and driven before the Warrior, because this is what is best in life.
Wizard
- Fixed the bad scaling on the Wizard Mastery UI window.
Items
- Added support for Healing Spell Power on items. This stat will allow items to boost the healing power of those who wield them.
- Added Healing Spell Power to a number of rare and uncommon drop items that can be found throughout the game. Also adjusted other bonuses on several of those items.
- Corrected some bad data on dropped Spellgauntlets.
- Corrected the rarity of the Ghaldassii necklaces.
- Removed the Unique tag from the Tarnished Band.
- Increased the rarity of the Draconic Offering Plate and adjusted the stats accordingly.
- Updated the damage values for Level 19+ uncommon weapons that drop from standard mobs
User Interface
- You can now search for any Mastery node by typing the partial name of the node in the search box in the Mastery window.
