This policy explains what 1vX.gg collects, why, and the controls you have. 1vX.gg is operated by PolyNeural AI, Inc., which is the controller of the data described here. The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account yourself.
What we collect
- Account basics. Email address, handle, display name, and avatar. If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive the profile fields that provider shares for sign-in.
- Linked game accounts (optional). If you link a Steam or Dota profile, we import what powers the feature you asked for — owned games, wishlist, playtime, or competitive stats. Unlinking stops future imports.
- Things you post. Forum threads, comments, guides, clips, reactions, and Pick'em predictions are stored, and the public ones are visible to others by design.
- Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand which features get used — page views, feature events, and device/browser type. We use this to build a better product, not to profile you across the web.
- Payments. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to our servers; we store the subscription status and billing reference Stripe returns.
- Logs and security. Our infrastructure (Cloudflare) records standard server logs — IP address, request path, user agent — kept briefly for security and debugging.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small number of functional cookies (like your analytics identity). Embedded players — YouTube and Twitch — may set their own cookies under their own policies when you play a video.
Who processes your data
We share data only with the processors that run the product: Cloudflare (hosting, storage), PostHog (analytics, hosted in the US), Stripe (payments), and email delivery for the messages you ask for (like sale alerts). We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Account data lives as long as your account does. Analytics events age out of our working window, and server logs are kept days, not months. When you delete your account, personal data tied to it is removed; public contributions may remain in anonymised form (a thread with the author removed) so conversations others took part in aren't destroyed.
Your controls
- Edit your profile, unlink game accounts, and manage email preferences in settings.
- Delete your account yourself from account settings — no support ticket required.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask questions about this policy, at legal@1vx.gg.
If you're in the EEA or UK, these controls are how we honour your access, rectification, erasure, and portability rights; our lawful bases are contract (running the service you signed up for) and legitimate interest (keeping it secure and improving it).
Children
1vX is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, email legal@1vx.gg and we'll remove it.
