A challenging raid featuring Meradia, a formidable boss who wields both fire and ice elements across four distinct phases. Players must master elemental mechanics and precise coordination to overcome this powerful adversary.
Meradia
Meradia is a powerful elemental boss who controls both fire and ice. Throughout the encounter, she transitions between elemental phases, culminating in a dual-element form and finally splitting into two elemental clones that must be defeated separately.
Phase 1: Fire Element
HP: 999x 750x
In her first phase, Meradia wields fire-based attacks, creating flame fields and utilizing tracking lasers to pressure players. This phase introduces core mechanics that will be expanded upon in later phases.
Dangerous Mechanics
Cone Attack
Skill Sealing Crystals
900x Bar Mechanic
750x Bar Mechanic
Other Mechanics
Tracking Lasers
Blade Swings
Tips
- Pair up at the start to efficiently break skill sealing crystals
- Remember which side of the chessboard you're on for positioning during mechanics
- Master the triple jump technique (launch attack + double jump) to save yourself in emergencies
- During tracking lasers, focus on dodging rather than DPS
- For the 900x mechanic, stay airborne to avoid fire damage when possible
- For the 750x mechanic, split into two parties based on your starting positions
- Knights always charge to their right at a 45-degree angle
Phase 2: Ice Element
HP: 750x 250x
After the 750x mechanic, Meradia transitions to ice-based attacks. Her abilities slow and freeze players, requiring different defensive strategies than in Phase 1.
Dangerous Mechanics
Ice Cone Attack
Ice Wall
500x Bar Mechanic
250x Bar Mechanic
Other Mechanics
Ice Crystals
Icicles
Tips
- Use super armor or dodge to avoid being knocked back by the Ice Wall attack
- During the 500x mechanic, use the triple jump to traverse high walls
- Be careful not to drop icicles on top of each other as they will explode and cause damage
- For bishops in the 250x mechanic, focus on breaking as many fireballs as possible to prevent black holes
- For rooks in the 250x mechanic, prioritize helping players who get bound by the binding attack
- Ice cone attacks leave persistent fields - avoid standing in them to prevent slowing and freezing
- Use icicles strategically as platforms during the 500x mechanic
Phase 3: Dual Element
HP: 250x 100x
After the 250x mechanic, Meradia harnesses both fire and ice elements simultaneously, creating dangerous environmental combinations that require careful positioning and movement.
Dangerous Mechanics
Dual Element Survival
Other Mechanics
Fire Tracking Lasers
Triple Slashes
Tips
- Ranged and aerial classes can damage Meradia from a distance during the dual element mechanic
- Avoid getting too close to Meradia while in the air as her aura causes instant death
- Don't place icicles where fire walls will spawn to avoid being burned
- The center zone may appear unaffected by fire due to a visual bug, but it is still dangerous
- Focus on bursting the boss down to 10% HP within one rotation of attacks if possible
- If you have revives available, you can strategically die to the tracking lasers to reset cooldowns for a stronger burst
- If the boss isn't pushed to 100x after one rotation, prepare for the mechanics to repeat
Phase 4: Elemental Split
HP: 100x 0x
At 100x bars, Meradia splits into two forms - herself and an elemental clone of the opposite element. Players must defeat the clone quickly to remove the boss's damage reduction, then focus on defeating Meradia herself to complete the raid.
Elemental Split
Clone Respawn
Tips
- The clone will always be the opposite element of what Meradia was before the split
- Focus on defeating the clone first to remove Meradia's damage reduction
- Be prepared for both fire and ice attacks simultaneously during this phase
- If you take too long, a new clone will spawn with another timer
