3DMAX have qualified for the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 LAN finals after beating FUT 2-0, taking Dust2 13-11 and Ancient 13-9. The French side now travel to Malta for the final-eight stage, which begins on July 30.
It will be the third LAN event 3DMAX have played with Jeremy "Kursy" Gast in the lineup, and his contribution across the qualifying run was uneven. Kursy starred in the team's opener against magic with a 1.42 rating, but found far less joy against Aulon "Krabeni" Fazlija's side and finished bottom of the scoreboard in the deciding series.
Misutaaa carries the fragging load
With Kursy quiet, the work fell to Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier, who took the fragging load on himself across the two maps. He finished the series with 45 kills, 90 ADR and a 1.37 rating, comfortably 3DMAX's most productive player in the win that sealed their Malta place.
The two-map scoreline flatters neither team by much. Dust2 finished 13-11 and Ancient 13-9, close enough that FUT were in both maps without ever converting that position into a map win.
FUT fall short with xfl0ud on board
For FUT the defeat means missing the LAN portion of the tournament, a disappointing outcome for a roster that has recently added Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç. The Turk was one of the few positives on their side of the scoreboard, finishing the event as FUT's second-highest-rated player.
HLTV noted that xfl0ud's showing suggested he can go some way toward replacing the firepower FUT lost with Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea, which gives the organisation something to build on even after an exit at this stage.
3DMAX join the teams already through to Malta, where the closing stage of BLAST Bounty Season 2 gets under way at the end of the month. The final-eight bracket begins on July 30, and it will be the third time the French roster has played a LAN event with Kursy in the lineup.
