Apex Legends is preparing a Cyberpunk crossover event that includes a character skin based on Lucy from the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Rock Paper Shotgun reported on 7 July.
The skin places Lucy’s appearance onto an existing Apex Legends character rather than adding her to the roster in her own right. Rock Paper Shotgun described the crossover as extending beyond that single skin into a wider Cyberpunk event for the battle royale.
Not Lucy's first crossover
The Edgerunners character has appeared in other games before this one. Rock Paper Shotgun noted previous Lucy crossovers in the fighting game Guilty Gear Strive and in Wuthering Waves.
The report characterised the event as another step taking Apex Legends closer to the crossover-heavy approach associated with Fortnite. A start date for the event and the full list of its contents were not given in the report.
