Developer Omega Force and publisher Koei Tecmo have announced a December 10 release date for Attack on Titan 3, the first new game in the series in more than eight years. Polygon reported the date alongside the opening of pre-orders.
The game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X. Omega Force is the studio behind the Dynasty Warriors series.
Unlike its predecessors, this entry adapts the manga in full, including its ending. Players work through those events as a customisable original character rather than as Eren, Armin or Mikasa.
Editions and pre-order bonuses
Koei Tecmo unveiled a physical Steelbook edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition alongside the date. Players who still have Attack on Titan 2 save data on their systems will receive an in-game bonus.

The early-access carve-out means Switch 2 owners who buy the Digital Deluxe Edition will start on December 10 alongside standard-edition players, while buyers on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X begin three days earlier.
The December slot places Attack on Titan 3 well clear of Grand Theft Auto 6, which launches on November 19. Polygon noted that a number of releases have clustered into September, October and December to avoid that date, and that the titles willing to launch close to it are largely ports and remasters, among them Barbie Rewind, Gothic 3 Classic and the Switch 2 port of Metaphor ReFantazio.
December is not empty either. Polygon pointed to Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition as Japanese-developed competition arriving in the same window, making Attack on Titan 3 one of the last major releases of a crowded autumn.
