Avatar: Seven Havens, the next series in the Avatar franchise, premiered first-look teaser footage at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. The footage also showed how the new series connects to Korra.
The reveal puts a new Avatar series within months of release, after a long stretch in which the franchise's expansion was repeatedly disrupted. That stretch included the M. Night Shyamalan live-action film, Nickelodeon releasing Korra episodes on its website, Netflix parting ways with the series creators on its own adaptation, and the Avatar Aang movie being moved to streaming.
Seven Havens is positioned as the next chapter in a saga that has spent much of the last 20 years contending with corporate upheaval around it, and the SDCC footage is the first substantial look the show has been given publicly.
