Blizzard has said that World of Warcraft's Roofus Pack raised more than $1.3 million for Habitat for Humanity. The charity bundle went on sale in March, and the studio published the total in a post relayed by Wowhead on September 2.
The pack was built around Roofus, a builder-themed companion pet that players could use across modern World of Warcraft and on WoW Classic progression realms. It also carried a set of Paw Pal Housing Decor items — a Dog House, a Pet Bed and a Water Bowl Decor — for player housing.
Blizzard said it donated 100% of the purchase price of the Roofus Pack digital bundle to Habitat for Humanity for sales made between March 7, 2026 and May 12, 2026. The company's own footnote qualifies the figure: the donation is net of chargebacks, refunds, transaction fees, and value added tax or other similar taxes.
The announcement also credits staff time. Blizzard said members of the Blizzard and World of Warcraft teams volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Altadena, California, helping build homes for families affected by the fires there. In the post, Blizzard thanked "everyone who adopted Roofus, shared the promotion, or helped spread the word," and signed off: "Thank you for helping Roofus find homes—and helping others build theirs."
Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 and says it has helped more than 65 million people worldwide through access to housing, working on building, repairing and financing homes and advocating for policy that makes housing easier to build and obtain.
