Bohemia Interactive has acquired a minority stake in Enjoy Studio, the Polish developer behind the co-op FPS survival RPG Everwind, GamesIndustry.biz reported. The size of the stake and the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The investment makes Bohemia Interactive a co-owner of the studio, and it is the company's first investment in a Polish developer. According to the report, Enjoy Studio will keep its own identity and its creative independence.
The two companies were already working together before the deal. Enjoy Studio joined Bohemia Interactive's Incubator program in 2024. Bohemia established the program in 2016 to support independent developers as they create and launch prototype games. In August 2026, Bohemia published the 2.5D adventure platformer Space Tail.
Enjoy Studio's first release was The Witch of Fern Island, an open-world life simulation game published by indie.io. Everwind followed, entering early access on Steam in March 2026, and GamesIndustry.biz reported that it has since sold more than 300,000 copies.
Alongside its own games, Enjoy Studio offers publishing and porting services. For Aurorian Studios' One Lonely Outpost, it handled a UI redesign and provided multi-platform production support.
Bohemia Interactive co-founder and CEO Marek Španěl explained the decision in comments to Game Developer, which GamesIndustry.biz cited. He said Bohemia had known Enjoy Studio closely for two years, that the people behind the studio were what convinced the company most, and that the two share a similar approach both to making games and to communicating with players.
Španěl said Everwind had shown what the team is capable of, but that the investment was not about any single game. He described it as an expression of Bohemia's confidence in the talent of the whole studio and a step toward a closer, long-term partnership, with the aim of making games together and bringing them to as many players as possible.
