MIBR have announced the departure of Breno "brnz4n" Poletto, ending a five-year association with the Brazilian organization, HLTV reported. The 23-year-old had been benched from the starting lineup in August to make way for Tomas "tomaszin" Corna.
brnz4n joined MIBR in 2021 as part of its academy setup. After impressing on the academy squad, he was promoted to the main team midway through 2022 to replace outgoing AWPer Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato, and he remained a versatile member of the roster through many iterations.
He was briefly benched at the end of 2024 in favor of Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves, but returned to the lineup early the following year and stayed with the squad until tomaszin replaced him.
During his time with MIBR, brnz4n won numerous regional titles and the international ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024. He attended three Majors with the team; his best finish came at the BLAST.tv Austin Major, where MIBR knocked out Falcons and BETBOOM before narrowly missing out on a Stage 3 berth.
