According to Wowhead, a hotfix has been applied to the Coiled Altar encounter in the Venomous Abyss raid in World of Warcraft, significantly reducing its difficulty. The encounter was previously considered too difficult on Normal mode, with some players finding it harder than the Normal Ula'tek encounter.
The hotfix reduces the health modifier of certain buffs that grant extra health to the bosses during the Intermission at the end of Phase 2. Specifically, the Increase Max Health buffs for Malacrass and Zul'jan have been nerfed by almost 100% on every difficulty level, as reported by Wowhead.
