Dreamlight Valley's 2026 roadmap adds Oogie Boogie, Lilo and a deep-sea expansion

Disney Dreamlight Valley's roadmap for the rest of 2026 has been announced, confirming two free character updates and a paid expansion pack between now and the new year. The plan was uncovered in full during a Disney Dreamlight Valley panel at D23, the Disney event of panels and announcements spanning the company's franchises, Polygon reported. A previous roadmap had told players they would learn more about the two free updates in August.

Taken together, the schedule means roughly every month between now and the new year brings something new to the Valley, most of it new characters.

Oogie Boogie, from The Nightmare Before Christmas, arrives in September and joins the player once they complete the game's yearly Halloween event. Lilo, from Lilo and Stitch, follows in December, reuniting with Stitch — who has been wandering the Valley by himself — for a holiday-themed update at the end of the year. As is usual for the game, players will most likely have to complete themed quests and help the characters settle in before they move into the Valley.

The paid DLC is going underwater

Between the two free updates sits the paid expansion teased earlier in the year, now confirmed as The Keepsake Sea. It takes the game to the deep sea and is headlined by Captain Jack Sparrow. No exact release date was given beyond October.

Outfits arrive sooner. Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire costumes, drawn from the two Disney Channel shows, hit the Premium Shop from August 19.

Panel viewers also get a cosmetic for turning up. The D23 Varsity Jacket 2026 can be claimed by opening the Help section of the Settings menu and entering the code “DDVD23PANELGIFT”, which delivers the jacket to the player's in-game mailbox. The full panel is available on the official Disney Dreamlight Valley YouTube channel.
