The International 2026, also known as Dota 2 TI 2026, has brought together 16 of the world's best Dota 2 teams in Shanghai, China, to compete for the Aegis of Champions, according to Dot Esports. Seven teams received direct invites, while nine squads earned their spots through regional qualifiers.
Defending champions Team Falcons are looking to retain the Aegis at Dota 2 TI 2026, but they face a strong field of contenders, including TEAM VISION, Team Liquid, Team Spirit, Iron Wing, and Aurora Gaming, as reported by Dot Esports. Team Falcons are also chasing a place alongside OG, Team Spirit, and Team Liquid as two-time TI champions.
The TI 2026 schedule includes the Group Stage from August 13-16 and the Playoffs from August 20-23, with the Main Event taking place at the Oriental Sports Center, according to Dot Esports. The event features a number of key matches, including the opening matches between Team Falcons and LGD Gaming, and Nigma Galaxy and Iron Wing.
