Stonehollow Workshop has released v80 of its indie MMORPG Eterspire, an update titled Of Rabbits and Wolves, MassivelyOP reported. The patch arrives as the studio continues the roadmap revamp it is running through the rest of 2026 while holding to its planned content cadence.
The update's headline additions are two questlines, which MassivelyOP characterised as content for midbies and highbies. Level 145 players can take on Catch Me If You Can in Ashford Port, while level 48 players can begin The Wolf Hunt in Dorthian's Drinkery. The gap between the two entry levels means the patch lands content at opposite ends of the game's progression rather than concentrating it at the top.
Everything else in v80
- A slate of controller support additions
- User interface improvements on Apple TV
- Several substantial performance improvements to general gameplay
- Chat and friends list tweaks, plus a new feedback chat command
- A new community event shop
The event shop introduces a currency called manu coins, earned by taking part in events and spent on items from past events, giving players who missed an earlier run a way to pick up its rewards.
The patch notes also record one fix that needs no explanation: Eldia in Stonehollow, the studio wrote, is no longer on fire.
Woodcutting arrives September 1
The studio used the release to remind players that the next update lands at the start of September and brings the long-promised woodcutting lifeskill.
The next Eterspire update will arrive on September 1st, as we finally transition to our new update schedule that keeps our usual pace while standardizing the day of the week each update releases
That schedule change does not slow the studio's output; it fixes the day of the week on which each update ships, after a stretch of releases that landed on varying days.
