Fenris Creations has pushed the Steam early access launch of EVE Vanguard back to a Q3 2027 window and will instead open an always-on paid alpha on Tuesday, November 10, MassivelyOP reported. The PvPvE shooter had previously targeted an early access launch this summer.
The 24/7 alpha will be available only through paid access. According to MassivelyOP, Fenris Creations has not yet shared the price or the range of access options, and has said more details will follow closer to November.
MassivelyOP characterized the Steam early access release, now slated for the third quarter of 2027, as effectively the game's beta phase, with the always-on alpha serving as the step before it.
What the alpha build includes
Fenris Creations listed a set of changes arriving with the alpha build:
- An updated tutorial.
- Three new maps: a PvE map, a PvPvE map, and an extraction map.
- Weapon telemetry, an upgraded weapon-specific progression system.
- The option to ally with one of the MMO's four major alliances.
- A new suit.
- UI and movement improvements, including the ability to vault over higher cover.
