According to HLTV, the Esports World Cup playoff bracket has been drawn, with some notable teams on the same side. Vitality, Falcons, and Spirit have all been drawn onto the same side of the bracket, meaning only one of the three can make it to the grand final. This is a result of the group stage upsets, which led to the current bracket setup.
HLTV reports that the bracket has played out this way because of the upsets during the group stage, with group winners and runners-up going into separate pools for the draw. FURIA is reportedly the team most thankful for the way the draw played out, as they are on the weaker side of the bracket and fancy themselves to make it to the grand final.
