Riot Games has confirmed Rasmus "Caps" Winther as the third player inducted into the League of Legends Hall of Legends. The G2 Esports mid laner follows Faker, inducted in 2024, and Uzi, inducted in 2025, and is the first Western player to reach the list.
According to Dot Esports, a leak brought the announcement forward. Hall of Legends assets added to the League of Legends PBE earlier in the week identified the 2026 inductee before Riot had said anything publicly, and the same files indicated that Tristana will receive this year's Immortalized Legend skin. Riot has not yet published the full skin and cosmetic lineup.
What the induction includes
Caps is due to collect his Hall of Legends trophy at a ceremony in Berlin on Aug. 18. A dedicated website opens on Aug. 24, and the in-game event follows on Sept. 10 with a pass built around moments from his career alongside a collection of cosmetics tied to him. Riot has also released a trailer announcing the induction and scheduled a full Hall of Legends film for Sept. 10, covering his career and his standing in European League of Legends.
Inductees receive a trophy alongside the in-game event, pass and cosmetic collection, and take a share of the revenue generated by Hall of Legends passes and bundles. That share is split with the player's current and former teams.
How inductees are chosen
Riot requires candidates to have competed at the Tier 1 level for at least five cumulative years before they can be considered at all. Riot employees across the major regions nominate around 20 eligible players, and an independent panel of 50 esports veterans then votes on that shortlist against a set of criteria.

Caps joins Faker and Uzi as the only three players inducted since Riot launched the Hall of Legends in 2024. Riot is expected to detail his skins, bundles, pass rewards and pricing before the in-game celebration begins on Sept. 10.
