Fallout 4 Patch

Bethesda releases new Fallout 4 patch with bug fixes and Creation Kit update.

Bethesda has released a new patch for Fallout 4, according to IGN. The update includes a number of crash and bug fixes, as well as an update to the Creation Kit. The BA2 archive limit has been increased from 256 to 1024 to better accommodate larger collections of mods, Bethesda said in patch notes published on Steam.

The update also fixes a crash that occurred when the player opened the Virtual Keyboard on a Steam Deck device, which will help players on Valve's handheld. Additionally, Creations up to 2GB in size can now be uploaded for Xbox, and archives are now supported on PlayStation. New file types are also supported for PlayStation Creations, including .nif, .dds, .bink, .cdx, .csg, .wav, and .fuz (with embedded .wav).

Bethesda warned Fallout 4 players to log into their game before the update to save their load order. Once the load order is saved, players will be able to re-download their entire Creations list at once. Bethesda is also working on a Skyrim update, with details coming soon.
