FaZe are through to the Esports World Cup playoffs after a 2-0 win over Legacy, taking Cache 13-6 and Mirage 13-8 against the Brazilian side, HLTV reports.

Cache was the more comfortable of the two maps. HLTV describes a thoroughly convincing FaZe performance, with Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken's calling driven forward by the fragging power of his team for a straightforward 13-6 scoreline.
Legacy made more of a contest of Mirage, posting strong starts to each half, but were met by what HLTV calls a stellar performance from Twistzz. The Canadian found multiple multi-frags to rescue rounds in a tight first half, then called a clinical offense that carried FaZe the rest of the way to the playoffs.
Form since the JBOEN addition
The result continues a strong start to FaZe's life with Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen in the lineup. The team came into the event on the back of consecutive top-four finishes at XSE Pro League and BLAST Bounty S2, and the playoff berth adds a third deep run to that sequence.
FaZe's only series defeats this season have come against PARIVISION and Spirit, per HLTV, which expects the team to fancy their chances of continuing the run in Paris provided the individual form holds and Twistzz keeps calling as he did here. Twistzz's series doubled as both a calling and a fragging performance, and HLTV singles it out as the difference between the two teams across both maps.
