According to Polygon, Fields of Mistria's 1.0 update has made modding easier, and players have used this to address the game's biggest annoyance: never having enough time. The update's easily-findable files have led to the creation of mods that allow players to control time in the game.
Polygon reported that mods such as Advanced Time Controls, created by modder annanomoly, give players a dial to tweak and set their day's pace. This mod allows players to speed up or slow down their day, or even freeze time outright, using an intuitive in-game menu.
