The 2026 Fortnite Global Championship takes place in Antwerp, Belgium on September 26 and 27, with a field of 50 duos drawn from seven competitive regions. Esports.gg published the full list of qualified teams on September 4, closing out a year of worldwide competition in which teams played for millions of dollars.
Europe holds by far the largest share of the field. The seven regions break down as follows:
- Europe — 21 duos
- NA Central — 14 duos
- NA West — 3 duos
- Brazil — 3 duos
- Asia — 3 duos
- Middle East — 3 duos
- Oceania — 3 duos
That comes to 50 duos — 100 players — in total, and a top-heavy split: Europe's 21 duos alone make up more than 40 percent of the field, and Europe and NA Central together account for 35 of the 50 slots, while the remaining five regions send three duos apiece.
The finals are played on the Chapter 7 Season 4 map, and landing spots are already public. Esports.gg published a map showing where every qualified duo plans to drop, marking which teams have an uncontested area to themselves and which pairs are contesting the same spot.
Esports.gg names vic0 and Malibuca among the favourites after the pair won two LAN events back-to-back, while noting that the depth of the field makes a winner difficult to call.
The annual tournament is the last stop of the competitive year: the duo that comes out on top in Antwerp will hoist the trophy and take the title of 2026 Fortnite Global Champions.
