According to HLTV, FURIA have advanced to the playoffs in the Esports World Cup after defeating 9z. A strong performance by KSCERATO was key to FURIA's success, HLTV reported.
HLTV stated that FURIA won the first map, Dust2, with a comfortable 13-6 score. The Brazilian team started and finished their CT half strong, and then outclassed 9z with their offense. The second map, Mirage, was a harder-fought battle, with 9z's HUASOPEEK and meyern putting up a strong fight, but FURIA ultimately lost the map in overtime.
The series ended with FURIA dominating the third map, Nuke, from start to finish, HLTV said. KSCERATO was once again in stellar form, and his teammates contributed in several close clutch scenarios to ensure FURIA's victory and advancement to the playoffs.
