FURIA eliminated MOUZ from StarLadder StarSeries Fall on September 19, winning their series 2-1 with scores of 13-8 on Cache, 16-19 on Mirage and 13-6 on Nuke, HLTV reported. Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato led the Brazilian side with 66 kills and a 1.44 rating across the three maps.
The loss ended a difficult event for MOUZ. According to HLTV, the team lost its opening match to NRG, then recovered with a reverse sweep of Natus Vincere before FURIA ended the run short of the final four. MOUZ had come into the event after winning BLAST Bounty Season 2 against Spirit and reaching the grand final of BLAST Open Porto.

Cache, FURIA's map pick, started badly for them: MOUZ took the first four rounds on their CT side. FURIA answered with seven rounds in a row, led 7-5 at the half and pushed the score to 10-5 before closing it out 13-8. MOUZ won only three rounds on their T side, and KSCERATO topped the scoreboard with a 1.51 rating.
Mirage began in a similar way, with MOUZ winning the first three rounds but trailing 5-7 at halftime. FURIA extended the lead to 10-5 after the switch before MOUZ won five straight rounds and eventually reached map point at 12-11. FURIA forced overtime and saved one more map point in the first overtime, but MOUZ took the map 19-16 in the second. Adrian "xelex" Vincze led MOUZ's comeback with 34 kills and a 1.51 rating, and Dorian "xertioN" Berman added 30 kills.
Nuke was decided in three runs. FURIA won the first six rounds on their T side, MOUZ took the next six to tie the map at halftime, and FURIA then won all seven rounds of their CT half to finish 13-6. KSCERATO had 18 kills and a 1.57 rating on the map.
The win put FURIA, captained by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, into a lower-bracket match against fellow Brazilian side MIBR, who had eliminated NRG earlier the same day, according to HLTV.
