Helldivers 2 Joins PS Plus

According to the PlayStation Blog, Helldivers 2 has joined the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, making it available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. This coincides with the release of the Devoid of Liberty update, which introduces a new frontier for players to battle in.

The PlayStation Blog states that the threat posed by the Void is too great, and players are needed on the battlefield to liberate it and bring it back under Super Earth's control. The Devoid of Liberty update adds new missions, including destroying Illuminate spires and gateways, completing data reconnaissance, and infiltrating Illuminate structures.

The PlayStation Blog also mentions that the planets within the Void's reach have been altered, with strange mutations leaving a permanent mark on them. Intelligence reports suggest that these changes are more significant the closer the planets are to the Void itself. Players will have to venture into the Void to gather intel and complete new objectives.
