Atlus confirmed on September 21 that Johnny Yong Bosch will voice Adachi in Persona 4 Revival, its remake of the 2008 role-playing game, Polygon reported.
Atlus announced the casting on X alongside three other English-language cast members: Judy Alice Lee as Aika Nakamura, Courtney Shaw as Nanako Dojima, and Ray Chase as Ryotaro Dojima.
Bosch has voiced Adachi in every appearance of the character to date, across Persona 4's multiple versions, its two anime adaptations and several spin-off games, according to Polygon. Adachi is a young detective who is introduced as an ally of the game's main cast.
Bosch is currently the only actor from previous versions of Persona 4 to reprise a role in Revival. Atlus had said it would cast new actors for the remake and that the team could not bring back many of the original performers, a position that was questioned when several of those actors said they had not been asked to return. The original English cast included Troy Baker, Yuri Lowenthal and Laura Bailey.

Persona 4 Revival releases on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X. A Nintendo Switch 2 version follows on May 20, 2027.
