World of Warcraft’s North American realms are missing a weekly quest that European realms have, Wowhead reported, and the gap has been in place since Patch 12.1 went live.
The quest in question is offered by Lady Liadrin in Silvermoon. On EU servers she gives players a weekly with four objectives to choose between, a structure returning players will recognise. On NA servers, Wowhead said, the quest does not appear at all.
What NA players lose
Two things are affected. The first is a route to Spark of Tides, the patch’s crafting currency: the Liadrin weekly is one of the options for earning it, so its absence narrows how NA players can pick it up each week.
The second is warband campsite progress, and that is the harder one to work around. Patch 12.1 added two campsites, both gated behind weekly quests rather than a one-off unlock.
- "Silvermoon in Void" is available on both regions and requires four Void Vestiges, one a week from the Trailing Xal’atath weekly quest.
- "Silvermoon City" requires four Silvermoon Citizen’s Emblems, one a week from the Unity Against the Void weekly quest — the Lady Liadrin quest that is not showing up on NA.
Because each emblem is earned once per week, the missing quest is not simply a delayed reward. Every week the quest stays absent is a week of the four-week unlock that NA players cannot begin, while EU players progress on schedule. Blizzard has not commented publicly on the discrepancy, and it is not clear whether the quest was intended to be live on both regions at patch launch or is being staged.
