Riot Games' League of Legends Patch 26.19 is scheduled for release on Wednesday, September 23, according to Dot Esports' breakdown of the patch notes. It is the first of two balance updates Riot has planned before the 2026 World Championship. Worlds itself will be played on Patch 26.20, which follows on October 7.
The update adjusts 17 champions in total, along with Teleport for top laners and the support item line.
Champion changes
Ten champions receive buffs, and six receive nerfs. Lucian gets a separate adjustment.
- Buffs: Aatrox, Aphelios, Aurora, Draven, Elise, Fiora, Kha'Zix, Lillia, Master Yi, and Volibear.
- Nerfs: Nasus, Nocturne, Poppy, Rumble, Ryze, and Vi.
- Adjusted: Lucian, whose power moves from his Vigilance passive into his Q.
Dot Esports reported that the Lucian change is intended to make the champion less dependent on specific support partners. The outlet named Nami and Milio as the pairings the shift targets.
Outside the champion list, Patch 26.19 shortens Teleport cooldowns for top laners through the Role Quest system. Support items give up some health in exchange for more health regeneration.
