Liquid have signed Johnny "JT" Theodosiou as their new in-game leader, confirming a June report from Dust2.us and completing a change the organization set in motion a day earlier by benching Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek.
The South African arrives with in-game leading experience at Bravado, Cloud9 and Complexity. His signing ends siuhy's 15-month spell on the active roster; the Pole joined Liquid in April 2025, three months after his removal from MOUZ, and never reproduced the results he had posted with the German organization.
A season that forced the change
HLTV reports that Liquid averaged among the worst T-side win rates in the entire scene across their 2026 run, sliding down the Valve Regional Standings on the back of repeated group-stage exits. The team reached the playoffs at BLAST Bounty Season 1 only through the online group stage, and closed the season with a 2-3 exit from Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major.
JT is the second piece of Liquid's off-season rebuild. The organization had already replaced Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak with Georgi "Jorko" Mitev, who takes the AWP. Both ultimate and siuhy are now listed as benched.
Reuniting with EliGE
The move puts JT back alongside Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, his former Complexity teammate. Together at that organization the pair won ESL Challenger Jonkoping 2024, finished second at IEM Sydney 2023, and reached semi-finals at ESL Pro League Season 19 and the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023.
Liquid were set to field the new five immediately, with JT calling and Jorko on the AWP, during the online portion of BLAST Bounty Season 2. Seeded 30th in that tournament, Liquid used their pick to select Vitality as an opponent ahead of the other two available teams, Falcons and Spirit.

With two of the five positions turned over inside a single off-season and a new caller installed, Liquid have committed to rebuilding rather than waiting out the slump. The organization has not said what happens next for siuhy or ultimate.
