Team Liquid’s rebuilt Counter-Strike 2 roster won its first official match together, beating Vitality 2-0 at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2, according to HLTV.
Liquid took Anubis 13-10 and closed the series out 13-9 on Nuke. The organisation fielded Georgi “Jorko” Mitev and Johnny “JT” Theodosiou alongside holdovers Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski, Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa and Keith “NAF” Markovic.
It was the competitive debut for both new signings. HLTV credited the additions of Jorko and JT directly for the result, and characterised the win as a major upset given that Vitality entered the match as the higher-ranked side.
Vitality answered with Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, Robin “ropz” Kool, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan and William “mezii” Merriman.
Neither map went to overtime, which makes the sweep a cleaner statement than most debut results — a reshuffled roster usually needs weeks of official matches before it looks settled. On the evidence of one series, Liquid’s did not.
This report is based on HLTV’s match coverage; further detail on the series and the wider BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 bracket was not available at the time of writing.
