MIBR and NRG have secured the final two places at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, winning the South American and North American qualifiers respectively. The $500,000 LAN runs September 17-20 at a location StarLadder has not yet disclosed.
The two teams join four invited sides plus Aurora and magic, who came through the European qualifier. With the Americas brackets resolved, the eight-team field is complete and the tournament is no longer waiting on any region.
NRG take the long road
NRG were playing their first tournament with Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli on the AWP, and the North American qualifier did not go smoothly for them. A third-round defeat to Voca dropped the roster into the lower bracket, and they had to win their way back from there to keep the spot alive.

Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek led the team across the event with a 1.28 tournament rating.
MIBR drop a single map
MIBR’s route through the South American qualifier was considerably more comfortable. The Brazilian side lost one map across the whole tournament, beating Fluxo, LP, ShindeN and BESTIA in turn to reach the international LAN.
Paris comes first
Both teams now shift focus to the Esports World Cup event in Paris, where their positions differ sharply. MIBR are among the 28 teams invited directly to the $2 million tournament. NRG hold no invitation and must play the 64-team open qualifier scheduled for August 7-9.
NRG have been drawn into Group N for that qualifier, alongside Acend, Spirit Esports and Vandulken. StarSeries Fall itself follows in September, running September 17-20 at a venue StarLadder has still not named.
