MIBR have moved Breno "brnz4n" Poletto to their bench, the organisation announced on Tuesday. HLTV reported the move, which removes the squad's longest-tenured member from the active Counter-Strike lineup and leaves the Brazilian side with four players.
The 22-year-old first joined MIBR's academy roster in August 2021 and was promoted to the main team a year later, spending five years with the organisation in all.
A replacement already reported
The benching comes days after a report from Dust2.com.br indicating that MIBR were set to bring in Tomas "tomaszin" Corna from BESTIA as brnz4n's replacement. That report preceded Tuesday's announcement rather than following it.
MIBR have not confirmed the tomaszin signing. Their announcement covered the benching alone, and the organisation has not said when it expects to name a fifth player or whether brnz4n will be released outright.
With brnz4n out, MIBR's lineup stands at four players and a coach:

- Carlos "venomzera" Eduardo
- Lucas "nqz" Soares

What brnz4n leaves behind
HLTV lists three Majors among the highlights of brnz4n's tenure with MIBR — BLAST.tv Austin, StarLadder Budapest and IEM Cologne — along with a win at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2025.
Alongside those he collected a raft of domestic South American titles with the organisation, among them FERJEE RUSH, BetBoom Circuit X Redemption Curitiba and FiRe CONTER.
MIBR are a player short until they name a fifth.
