According to Polygon, the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 betas will feature campaign, multiplayer, and Warzone modes. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma revealed that both playtests will include the campaign mission 'Entrenched' and multiplayer, with the second playtest also featuring Warzone mode and the Resurgence Zodiac map. This is the first time a Call of Duty beta will include campaign, standard multiplayer, and Warzone.
Polygon reports that Call of Duty's official X account provided additional details on the beta schedule. The early access beta will run from August 21 to August 25 and is available for those who pre-order Modern Warfare 4. This beta includes the campaign mission and six multiplayer maps, playable across nine modes on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
The second weekend is an open beta, running from August 28 to September 1, which adds Warzone and the 32v32 Ground War mode, among other features. This test will be available on the previously mentioned systems, as well as Nintendo Switch 2, according to Polygon.
