The Huns Esports emerged as the event's only unbeaten side at 4-0, while FUT Esports claimed Group A's top seed out of a three-team pileup at 3-1. Eight teams now move on, but only one will ultimately punch a ticket to the MSC 2026 main event.
Group A: Three teams, one record, one Decider seed
Group A produced the messier finish of the two pools. FUT Esports, Alpha7 Esports, and The MongolZ all closed the single round-robin at 3-1, but it was FUT that landed on top of the standings and secured the group's lone direct berth into the Decider Stage. Alpha7 and The MongolZ, despite matching FUT's record, slide into the Cross-Group Gauntlet Stage, where they will have to grind out a longer road toward the main event. The MongolZ supplied one of the stage's standout moments, clawing back from a losing position to complete a comeback win over Victory Song Gamers. That result stung twice over for VSG, who finished the round-robin winless at 0-4 and became the group's only elimination. King of Gamers Club scraped together a single win against three losses — enough, under this format, to survive into the Gauntlet at fourth place.
Group B: The Huns leave no doubt
There was no ambiguity at the top of Group B. The Huns Esports swept all four of their best-of-ones, the only flawless run of the entire Wildcard field, and head straight to the Decider Stage. Their statement result came against Team Falcons, a match The Huns flipped on its head with a late-game turnaround after Falcons had the momentum. Falcons still finished a comfortable second at 3-1 and remain a serious threat entering the Gauntlet. Sunset Ravens split their games at 2-2 for third, and Niightmare Esports took the fourth Gauntlet slot at 1-3. The group's bottom placement was decided off the server entirely: Verso Time could not travel to the event due to visa issues and were handed a default loss, ending their MSC 2026 run before it began.
What comes next
The format leaves zero margin from here. FUT Esports and The Huns Esports advance directly to the Decider Stage as group winners, while the six second-through-fourth finishers — Alpha7 Esports, The MongolZ, King of Gamers Club, Team Falcons, Sunset Ravens, and Niightmare Esports — drop into the Cross-Group Gauntlet Stage. Every team still alive is chasing the same prize: a single slot at the MSC 2026 main event, the only one available through the Wildcard bracket. For Moonton's premier international MLBB competition, that math guarantees seven of these eight remaining teams go home with nothing. Two days of best-of-ones have set a clear hierarchy: The Huns look like the team to beat, FUT Esports proved it can win a knife-fight tiebreak group, and everyone else faces the long way around through the Gauntlet. With just one main-event ticket on the line, the Wildcard's next phase promises far higher stakes than its opening act.
