Blizzard issued an Overwatch hotfix on September 17 that trims the game’s newest hero and returns a support hero to the Stadium mode, Esports.gg reported.
D.Mon loses armor and perk damage
D.Mon’s armor was reduced in both the five-versus-five and six-versus-six modes. Her Focused Fusion perk had its damage per bullet cut from 45 to 36, and her Propulsors ability now drains fuel at a rate of 30 rather than 25. Her Fusion Repeater also had its damage reduced and its cooldown extended by a second.
Mercy back in Stadium
The same hotfix patched the issue that had taken Mercy out of Stadium. The support hero was pulled earlier in the week after a bug that caused servers to lag, with Blizzard writing on the official forums on September 14 that "Mercy has been disabled due to gameplay issues". She is available in the mode again with the September 17 update.
Two limited-time events are running alongside the patch. Esports.gg reported that an in-game LE SSERAFIM collaboration is giving players the Fawksey James Junkrat skin for free, with Perfect Night name cards awarded for completing matches, while a separate Junkrat’s Loot Hunt event is handing out additional loot boxes.
A BlizzCon 2026 promotion is also live: players who complete a single match receive a Mythic Voucher that can be redeemed for a mythic hero skin of their choice.
