Blizzard reveals Season 4 roadmap with new events and updates

Blizzard Entertainment has revealed the official Overwatch Season 4 roadmap, according to Esports.gg. The new season starts on August 11 and features a new lore event, Overwatch World Cup rewards, and several updates. The Shoot Star My Meka Mania event will run from August 11 to August 31, while the Team Drives event will take place from September 4 to September 6.

The Overwatch Season 4 Battle Pass will undergo a revamp, requiring players to complete an introductory track before choosing one of five tracks, as reported by Esports.gg. Additionally, the season will introduce a new Emerald rank, a rank reset, and a new tank hero named D.Mon. Three maps, including Busan, Paraiso, and Eichenwalde, will also receive reworks.

Esports.gg also reports that the season will feature new mythic and Ultimate Battle Pass skins, including the Mythic Koi of Duality Genji hero skin and the Mythic Eternal Crystal Sojourn weapon skin. An Overwatch x LE SSERAFIM collaboration and new shop skins, such as Young Gods and Fleece and Fangs, will also be available. Furthermore, players can look forward to Overwatch World Cup rewards and a new Overwatch Season 4 Starter Pack with a Mizuki skin.
