According to Dot Esports, Overwatch Season 4 introduces a flexible battle pass system, allowing players to prioritize the rewards they want to earn in the order they want. This system, which releases on August 11, features multiple tracks, each containing a Legendary or Epic skin, and can be leveled in any order after completing a short introductory track.
Dot Esports reports that the number of tiers in a battle pass remains the same, and so does the time it takes to level them. Premium battle pass owners also get a Tier Hack once per battle pass to swap an eligible Legendary reward for another cosmetic from the curated seasonal pool, which may include past shop and loot box skins across all three roles.
The curated pool for Season 4 includes cosmetics such as Raijin Ashe, Mob Boss Junker Queen, Cardboard Reinhardt, Sakura Lifeweaver, and Crustacean Wrecking Ball, as noted by Dot Esports. After completing all five main tracks, players gain access to additional tiers that offer Legendary loot boxes, Mythic Prisms, and Overwatch Coins, eventually unlocking seasonal titles.
