Cards from the Palworld Official Card Game are appearing on the resale market at four-figure prices within days of the game’s worldwide debut, though the most eye-catching numbers come with significant caveats about what was actually paid.
Pocketpair and Bushiroad released the first booster set, Dawn of Palpagos, on July 30. The set holds 100 standard card types and 61 parallels, all using original illustrations of Pals and characters drawn from the survival game. Demand ran ahead of the release: Bushiroad said on July 9 that 3.5 million Dawn of Palpagos booster packs had already sold worldwide.
Gold Cattiva leads the set
The chase card to emerge from the set is an all-gold Cattiva Soul card carrying an SSS rarity that had not been announced in advance. The fan-run price tracker Palify lists it at $2,000, a figure the site bases on a single community sale it reviewed.

Why the headline numbers are uncertain
Palify itself notes that the card game is too new to have a public sold-price feed, and that many of its listed values rest on a single reviewed report. Dexerto found the same problem in the eBay data: eight Cattiva copies were marked sold on July 30 at displayed prices between $600 and $2,999.99, and another was marked sold on July 27 at a displayed $3,997.98, but most of those listings accepted Best Offer. In that format the displayed figure can be the seller’s asking price rather than the amount a buyer paid, and the real totals are not public. Two fixed-price results, where the displayed number is the price paid, show Cattiva selling at $849 and $999.
Collectors have also reported pulling the gold Cattiva from what they describe as god packs holding several high-rarity cards at once. Bushiroad has not confirmed that such packs exist, and has not published pull rates for Dawn of Palpagos.
Asking prices already appear to be settling, with live listings for the gold Cattiva sitting between $700 and $950. Even at that level, the first week of trading has established a four-figure ceiling around a card game that was only announced in January 2026.
