Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen introduced the Shaman mastery system and resolved server performance problems on its Public Test Realm during the week of June 12 to 18, according to the studio’s development log. The team thanked its player community for continuing to test through the stability problems and for supplying feedback and bug reports.
Design work that week added interactive doors to the Port of Rulun and began population work in Detihauna and Kosa Minor. The team finalized the implementation of cleric and druid mastery, continued tuning and itemization for levels 1 to 30, and kept working through bugs reported by player testers.
That puts three of the game’s healing classes in motion at once, with Shaman mastery reaching testers while cleric and druid mastery move through final implementation behind it.
World and character art
Environment artists dressed shipwrecks on Kosa Ull and added set dressing to the ocean floor in Badia de Cara, while building out the main point of interest within the Screaming Stones. Buildout continued for Detihauna, the Port of Rulun received collision and NPC navigation fixes, and concepting carried on for the modular elven dwelling kit intended for Faerthale city and its outlying areas.
Character art finished NPC variations for Badia de Cara named and rare opponents, created the Obsidian Elemental NPC model, and started work on the Obsidian Crocodile. Animators applied finishing touches to some Kosa Ull NPCs, the team prepped universal armor meshes for race and gender adjustments and skinning, and detailed concepts began for Lucent, Ashen and Ember elf customization options.
Programming
Programmers spent the week on Mastery UI refinements and bug fixes and on assisting the design team with its own bug work. Work continued on itemization and crafting data support and on the market system UI, covering the browsing and search window and listing management. The team also handled change requests from the design side relating to class parameters and mastery implementation.
