Visionary Realms said it implemented the ranger's base abilities and locked in adjustments to the experience curve during the week of May 15 to 21, according to a May 22 development report on Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.
The studio said the experience curve changes were finalized on the basis of data gathered so far from the Public Test Realm, and that programmers were separately implementing an updated experience gain formula. Design work also moved on to base abilities for the Rogue and Monk, while the team logged what it described as a large volume of PTR bug fixes.
Other design and narrative tasks for the week included continued population work on the Caldera in Kosa Ull, further NPC placement in the Port of Rulun, and ongoing NPC dialogue for Faerthale City. The team also worked with programmers to support itemization efforts.
Environment artists stayed on the Caldera areas of Kosa Ull and the buildout of Detihauna, continued a refinement pass on the Sea Dragon Hatchery interiors, and worked to finalize a second round of structural and prop concepts for Faerthale City. On the character side, animators handled additional Badia de Cara creatures and polished some player character animations, while artists produced NPC variations to add visual diversity to Badia de Cara and continued work on ambient life effects there. The studio said early explorations into distinguishing Ashen, Lucent and Ember Elves were underway, materials for updated player robes were being finalized, and work had begun on updated base meshes for non-robe armor types.
