Pantheon Opens Applications for Voluntary Testing Program

Visionary Realms is taking individual applications from existing Pantheon players to test upcoming content, replacing all previous testing arrangements.

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen key art

Visionary Realms is recruiting players to try out unreleased Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen content, opening applications for a voluntary testing program in a February 26, 2025 announcement. The studio said the new program replaces every testing arrangement that came before it, and that it is drawing participants from members of the existing Pantheon community who are interested in taking part.

Participation is unpaid and carries no formal relationship with the studio. Visionary Realms stated explicitly that taking part does not constitute employment with the company, framing the program as volunteer testing of content that has not yet reached players.

Confidentiality rules

The announcement sets out several restrictions on how testers may communicate and what they may disclose. Testing discussion takes place on a private voice server, and participants there use only their real legal names; the studio said game handles and Discord handles are not allowed. Testers are prohibited from revealing their character name, server or guild within the testing group. Separately, the studio said divulging participation in the testing program itself is prohibited.

How applications are handled

The process runs through a single application form. The studio said one submission is enough, and that applying more than once will not improve an applicant's chance of being invited into the program. Those selected will be contacted by email.

  • Every application is treated individually; guilds and groups cannot apply as a unit and will not be considered
  • Repeat applications do not increase the chance of selection
  • Selected applicants are contacted by email
  • Participation is reviewed quarterly
  • Testers unable to participate are removed at review, and the gaps this creates are filled

The studio did not say how many testers it intends to bring in, when the first session will run, or which upcoming content the program will cover. It said it was looking forward to reviewing applications and to holding a first test session with participants soon.
