The Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen team has detailed the twelfth week of Public Test Realm patches, an update it says concentrates on bug fixes for class abilities and masteries alongside preparatory changes to the Enchanter.
The team credited detailed bug reports from players with helping it track down several significant problems that were preventing mastery benefits from applying properly. It said the fixes should let Mastery function more reliably during testing, which should both improve the experience for testers and make new bugs easier to identify and diagnose, while cautioning that more bugs are likely still to be found.
Enchanter prepared for its Mastery trees
The Enchanter receives ability adjustments in the same patch, made in advance of the class’s Mastery trees. The team said the two trees, Mentalist and Coercer, will allow players to significantly modify some of the class’s core abilities and will introduce additional new ones. The changes shipping now are described as a necessary step to ensure the base abilities work together with those Mastery options once they become available.
Enchanter Mastery itself is next in line for the test realm, which the team said it hopes to make available very soon. After that it plans to bring the remaining classes in for testing as quickly as possible, continuing to address problems and make adjustments for all classes from tester feedback in parallel with bringing the new Masteries online.
Zone crashes under investigation
Server stability remains a parallel priority. The team said it resolved several problems contributing to zone crashes over the past week as a result of those investigations, and that the work will continue until every issue affecting stability has been completely resolved.
The update is a highlights summary rather than a complete changelog; the team said the full list of the patch’s additions and fixes is published separately in the patch notes.
