Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for July 2026, headlined by a Cross-Gen Bundle of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III alongside For the King II and CrossCode. All three titles will be available July 7 through August 3, 2026, to all PlayStation Plus members, though the specific lineup may differ by region. The selection pairs a blockbuster shooter refresh with a co-op tactics sequel and a retro-styled action RPG, giving members a mix of scale and genre across the month. Each title is playable on both PS5 and PS4, spanning solo campaigns, party-based co-op, and single-player exploration.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – Cross-Gen Bundle

The headline addition is the Cross-Gen Bundle of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, available on both PS5 and PS4. The bundle centers on an all-new campaign in which Captain Price and Task Force 141 face off against Vladimir Makarov, continuing the series' long-running conflict between the two. Alongside the campaign sits a modernized multiplayer suite built around 16 upgraded maps pulled directly from 2009's Modern Warfare 2, giving the roster a mix of classic layouts rebuilt for current hardware. Rounding out the package is an open-world PvE Zombies mode, described as the series' largest map yet and structured around team co-op play. Between the campaign, the refreshed multiplayer maps, and the open-world Zombies mode, the Cross-Gen Bundle gives Monthly Games subscribers a fairly complete slice of what Modern Warfare III shipped with at launch.

For the King II

Joining the bundle is For the King II, made by the creators of the original game, available on PS5 and PS4. The sequel follows Queen Rosomon as she turns against her own subjects, sending players into servitude in the mines amid a web of dark alliances. It supports either solo play or four-player co-op, and it blends roguelite structure with tabletop-style gameplay, running on an updated engine from the first entry. The combination of tabletop-inspired systems and roguelite structure gives the co-op format a different rhythm than the shooter it shares the lineup with this month.

CrossCode

The lineup's third game is CrossCode, a retro-inspired 2D action RPG available on PS5 and PS4. It pairs 16-bit-style graphics with a fast-paced combat system, layering in puzzle mechanics alongside a sci-fi narrative that ties the game's action and exploration together. The result rounds out July's selections with a single-player option distinct from both the shooter and the co-op tactics game also included this month. All three titles — Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III's Cross-Gen Bundle, For the King II, and CrossCode — are available July 7 through August 3, 2026, to PlayStation Plus members. As with past Monthly Games drops, players should check their regional PlayStation Store storefront, since the lineup may differ by region.
