What the headliners are
Helldivers 2 is Arrowhead Game Studios' four-player co-op shooter, in which squads of up to four defend Super Earth against an alien scourge with, as Sony puts it, friendly fire always on. Its arrival in the Game Catalog was timed to coincide with a large new game update.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II casts players as Henry of Skalitz across an open-world 15th-century Bohemia torn by civil war. Vampire Survivors is the gothic horror rogue-lite that made its name letting players become the bullet hell, and is on both PS4 and PS5.
Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure with a semi-open world, following United Nations peacekeeper Remi, who goes absent without leave in an isolated country ravaged by infighting while searching for his missing parents. Two Point Museum, Umamusume Pretty Derby - Party Dash, Metro Exodus and Dying Light 2 fill out the month.
Premium and the shifting release dates
PlayStation Plus Premium members also get Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, Capcom's feudal-Japan action game, and Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire, both on PS5 and PS4.
IGN noted that Sony is still experimenting with the timing of Game Catalog releases, which is why the games land on different dates depending on region rather than dropping as a single monthly wave.
