Sony announced the September 2026 additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on September 9, with RuneScape: Dragonwilds, WWE 2K26, Ball x Pit and Date Everything! leading eight games for Extra and Premium subscribers. Premium members also get two further titles, Mega Man X Command Mission and Metro Redux.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the full lineup is available on September 15 in most regions. As IGN noted, Sony is continuing to experiment with release timing in the US, the UK and Japan, where several of the games arrive on later dates spread across the month.

What the games are
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a co-operative survival game set on Ashenfall, a continent in the RuneScape setting where, in Sony's description, dragons have reawakened. Eurogamer noted that the game spent around a year in early access on Steam and that it is also joining Xbox Game Pass in September.
Sony's listing for WWE 2K26 points to a roster of more than 400 WWE Superstars and Legends and a Showcase mode built around CM Punk's rivalries. Ball x Pit is a fantasy roguelite about descending into a monster-filled pit beneath the fallen city of Ballbylon, while Date Everything! is a dating simulator in which a pair of magical glasses called Dateviators makes the objects in the player's house dateable.
The rest of the Extra list includes Slitterhead, an action-adventure set in the city of Kowlong; Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, which Sony describes as coming from the team behind Blasphemous; the Austrian Alps puzzle adventure Dungeons of Hinterberg; and Sniper Elite: Resistance, whose story runs parallel with Sniper Elite 5. On the Premium tier, Mega Man X Command Mission is an RPG spanning more than 50 missions, and Metro Redux is offered on PS4.
Sony added that the Game Catalog and Premium lineups may differ by region and advised subscribers to check PlayStation Store on each release day.
