Ubisoft has pushed out the Year 11 Season 2.1 update for Rainbow Six Siege, delivering a targeted mid-season balance pass headlined by a cooldown penalty on Dokkaebi's Jegeo Payload and a handful of tuning tweaks across both operators and gadgets. The patch, published June 23, 2026, reflects Ubisoft's stated commitment to scheduled refinement windows throughout Year 11 — adjustments designed to smooth rough edges in the meta between major seasonal drops rather than overhaul it wholesale.
Dokkaebi Takes the Biggest Hit
The most talked-about change in Y11S2.1 is a direct hit to Dokkaebi's Jegeo Payload ability. The cooldown between activations has been extended to seven seconds, putting a firm stop to the rapid back-to-back pressure the operator had been generating. The intent is straightforward: Defenders need a reliable window to reposition between incoming calls, and the previous rhythm was not giving them one.
Attacker-Side Refinements
Several Attackers receive modest but meaningful buffs in this pass. Ash's Breaching Round now carries a slightly wider explosive damage range, moving from 2.0 metres to 2.2 metres — a small number that can nonetheless matter at tight breach angles. IQ's Electronics Detector range increases from 20 to 22 metres, giving the intelligence-gatherer a bit more reach when scanning for active gadgets. Finka's Adrenal Surge cooldown drops from 20 seconds to 18, shaving off a window that had made aggressive timing harder to sustain. Sens, meanwhile, benefits from a two-second extension to the R.O.U. Projector battery — up from 13 seconds to 15 — giving teammates more time to work behind the moving light wall. Zero's SC3000K also receives a controller and mouse-and-keyboard recoil pass, with horizontal kick smoothed across burst stages. It is a quality-of-life correction rather than a stat swing, but it should make the weapon more predictable for Zero players across input devices.
Defender and Gadget Tweaks
On the defensive side, Thatcher's E.G.S. Disruptor sees its effect radius grow from 1.75 metres to 1.85 metres, a micro-buff that improves the reliability of EMPs thrown through walls and around tight geometry. The Bulletproof Camera's EMP Dart gets a more noticeable range increase — explosion radius climbing from 0.55 metres to 0.75 metres — making it a more dependable counter to electronic gadgets placed in awkward spots. Thorn's Razorbloom Shell limping effect is cut from 15 seconds down to 10. Defenders relying on that slow to hold corridors will feel the reduction; Attackers who survive a Razorbloom detonation now recover control of their movement faster.
Exploit Patches and Map Fixes
Beyond balance, Y11S2.1 closes two notable exploits. A Mouse and Keyboard matchmaking loophole that allowed players to game input-based queues has been patched, and a prone-to-cancel-sprint shooting technique — which let players fire outside of intended animation states — has been removed. A slate of map and equipment bug fixes rounds out the patch. Y11S2.1 is exactly what Ubisoft positioned it as: a calibration update, not a disruption. The Dokkaebi cooldown is the sharpest cut, while the rest of the changes nudge underperforming kits toward relevance without flipping the meta. Whether the Jegeo Payload adjustment is enough to move Dokkaebi out of contested-pick territory — or simply makes her more manageable — will play out in ranked queues over the coming weeks.
