Rebels complete Portuguese rebuild with aragornN, arrozdoce and Shr

Rebels have signed Rafael "arrozdoce" Wing, António "aragornN" Barbosa and José "Shr" Gil to their Counter-Strike 2 roster, the organisation announced. According to HLTV, the three additions complete a rebuild that followed the departures of Filipe "NOPEEj" Dias and Diogo "snapy" Rodrigues and the benching of Tiago "TMKj" Martins.

The signings give RBLS an all-Portuguese line-up. Renato "stadodo" Gonçalves and Diogo "Icarus" Cruz remain from the previous roster, and João "horvy" Horvath stays on as coach. HLTV reports that every member of the new five has played alongside at least one of their new teammates at an earlier point in their careers.

Two returns to the domestic scene

For aragornN and arrozdoce, the move is a return to Portuguese rosters after spells on international teams. aragornN joined BC.Game in January, after the organisation acquired the former SAW core. HLTV describes the stint as short-lived, with the team failing to post meaningful results and the rifler averaging a 0.87 rating over his time there.

arrozdoce spent his two most recent years abroad, first with Ninjas in Pyjamas and then with OG. By HLTV's numbers, the 24-year-old did not reproduce the form he had shown with SAW in either place: a 1.14 rating in 2024 fell to 1.01 and 1.02 across the two international rosters.

Shr arrives from a longer absence. HLTV reports he has gone close to a full year without an official match recorded on the site, following his benching by Imperial in August 2025 after barely a month with that team.
