SOOP is going all-in on League of Legends' Mid-Season Invitational this year. The streaming platform announced it will carry every single MSI 2026 match in Korean, English, and Chinese, spreading the broadcasts across its website, mobile app, Smart TV app, and a dedicated TV cable channel in Korea. The expansion isn't just about language coverage. SOOP is also building out interactive features for Korean audiences and setting up shop at MSI Fan Festa in Daejeon, giving the platform a physical presence alongside its digital one.
Full trilingual coverage across every platform
SOOP's pitch for MSI 2026 centers on accessibility. By broadcasting every match in Korean, English, and Chinese simultaneously, the platform is casting a wide net across League's biggest international fanbases. Viewers won't be tied to a single screen either, with the tournament available through SOOP's website, its mobile app, a Smart TV app, and a TV cable channel for viewers in Korea.
Bingo cards and prediction content for Korean viewers
Korean fans get an extra layer on top of the standard broadcast. SOOP is rolling out Mission Bingo, Drops rewards, and prediction-themed content built around the live matches, giving viewers reasons to stay engaged beyond just watching the games play out.
A Daejeon booth and cross-regional showdowns before MSI starts
SOOP isn't waiting for MSI to begin to get fans involved. The platform will run a booth at MSI Fan Festa in Daejeon from July 3 through July 12, where attendees can take part in activities and pick up exclusive merchandise from seven LCK partner organizations. SOOP says additional player-focused fan events are in the works, though details on those haven't been released yet. Before the festival, SOOP also used a "Cross Regional LoL Content Series" to build hype. On June 21-22, Korean streamers and LCK all-stars squared off against participants from a French bootcamp. Then on June 26-27, three Korean organizations — Dplus KIA, Kiwoom DRX, and DN SOOPers — played against American teams FlyQuest, C9 Kia, and LØS. Between the trilingual broadcasts, interactive viewer perks, and an on-the-ground presence in Daejeon, SOOP is positioning itself as more than just a stream host for MSI 2026. As the platform put it, the goal is to "provide fans around the world with a more immersive and accessible esports experience while strengthening connections between global communities, both online and offline." With Fan Festa running through July 12 and more player events reportedly still to come, SOOP's MSI push looks far from finished.
