StarWars.com has revealed the main cast of Star Wars Zero Company, the squad tactics game from a team of former Firaxis XCOM developers. The announcement came ahead of a showing at San Diego Comic-Con, and confirms that two performers closely associated with the animated Clone Wars era are returning to the roles they have played for years.
Dee Bradley Baker will voice clone troopers again, and Matt Lanter will return as Anakin Skywalker. Baker has voiced clone troopers across multiple animated series, most notably Dave Filoni's The Clone Wars, while Lanter's performance defined Anakin Skywalker in the same animated continuity. In Zero Company, Baker's principal role is Trick, one of the game's story companions.
Vic Michaelis, known from the Dropout slate of improv shows, voices Runa Blask, an advisor at the player's base and a former Separatist agent. Anakin Skywalker's appearance in the game was previously announced at Summer Game Fest.

The cast also draws on performers with substantial video game credits.

The casting matters to the game's stated ambitions: Zero Company is attempting to combine cinematic storytelling with tactical squad combat, a pairing that leans heavily on its performances to carry the story between missions.
Star Wars Zero Company releases on August 27 at a $50 price point, and is available to wishlist on Steam.
