Bandai Namco has confirmed 12 downloadable characters for Tekken 8 across three seasons, nine of whom have been released and three of whom are still to come, Esports.gg reported in a breakdown drawn from the publisher's official announcements. Only one of the 12, Miary Zo, is new to the series.
Season 1
The first season introduced four characters, mixing long-absent series staples with Tekken 8's first major crossover. Eddy Gordo, the Capoeira fighter who first appeared in Tekken 3 in 1997 and was absent from the base roster, arrived in spring with a visual overhaul. Lidia Sobieska, the Polish prime minister who debuted as Tekken 7 DLC in 2021, followed in the spring-summer window.
Heihachi Mishima, in the series since Tekken 1 in 1994 and killed off in Tekken 7's story, returned posthumously in the autumn-winter slot with new lore explaining how he survived. Clive Rosfield, the protagonist of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XVI, closed the season in winter as the game's first crossover guest, bringing his Eikon abilities and swordplay across. All four are sold individually or as part of the Tekken 8 Season 2 bundle.
Season 2
Season 2 pulled from deeper in the back catalogue. Anna Williams, Nina's younger sister and a fixture since the original Tekken in 1994, arrived on April 1, 2025 with an edgier look and a compact bazooka nicknamed "Lovely Tom", making her one of a handful of Tekken 8 weapon characters alongside Miary Zo, Yoshimitsu and Clive. Fahkumram, a Tekken 7 DLC debutant from 2020 whose Muay Thai reach made him controversial in competitive play, followed on July 8, 2025, and Armor King, a Tekken 2 veteran from 1995, on October 17, 2025. Miary Zo joined them as the only wholly new character in the DLC lineup so far.
Season 3
The third season is a mix of nostalgia and crossover content: Kunimitsu, Bob and Roger return, and Yujiro Hanma arrives as a guest from Baki. That leaves Clive Rosfield and Yujiro Hanma as the only two crossover guests among the 12 confirmed DLC fighters.
