The publisher's 2026 showcase put September and November dates on its line-up, released REANIMAL's first DLC chapter and opened Way of the Hunter 2 pre-orders.

THQ Nordic used its 2026 Digital Showcase on August 7 to put release dates on most of its autumn slate, releasing the first chapter of REANIMAL's DLC campaign on the day and opening pre-orders for Way of the Hunter 2. The publisher's line-up leans on niche genres and revived catalogue IP rather than tentpole releases, GameSpot reports.

Way of the Hunter 2 arrives September 29 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and THQ Nordic is giving anyone who already owns the first Way of the Hunter a 10% discount on the pre-order. The hunting simulator promises higher realism, more complex animal behaviour and more ways to manage hunting grounds.

The Gothic catalogue took up the largest share of the show. Gothic Classic is already on consoles, Gothic II: Complete Classic — which bundles the sequel with the Night of the Raven add-on for the first time on console — follows on September 29, and Gothic 3 Classic lands November 24. Alkimia Interactive also laid out post-launch plans for this year's Gothic 1 Remake, including a photo mode, mod support and alternative progression. A tabletop spin-off, Gothic: A Shadow's Quest, launches on crowdfunding platform Gamefound on September 30.

REANIMAL: The Prisoner is available now for $9.99 and adds two playable characters, The Soldier and The Prisoner, who move through war-ravaged streets and areas of the REANIMAL world not seen in the base game.
